How are credits calculated?
Pinkfish credits are predominantly calculated per step. One automation in Pinkfish could be as simple as 1 step, or as complex as 20 step (or more). Every step is typically an API step, a browser step, a web scraping step, a document processing step or a custom logic step. You can accomplish a lot by putting these steps together. In addition to steps, other aspects like custom integration also uses credits.

Can you give a few examples of credits calculation?
EXAMPLE 1
If you have a complex automation with 10 steps, that runs 3 times a day, then you would use 30 credits that day. Assume all steps are API or custom logic that uses 1 credit per step.
10 steps x 1 credit per step x 3 runs = 30 credits used
EXAMPLE 2
If you have a 2 step automation that runs approximately 100 times a day, then you would use 200 credits. Assume all steps are API or custom logic that uses 1 credit per step.
2 steps x 1 credit per step x 100 runs = 200 credits used
EXAMPLE 3
If you have a 5 step automation that runs approximately once a day, and one of those 5 steps is document processing.
4 steps x  1 credit per step x 1 run + 1 document step x 5 credit per step x 1 run = 9 credits used
Do the credits roll over?
For annual contract with monthly billing, unused credits will be kept for that month and will not rollover beyond the month.
If you buy an annual plan, you get all your credits upfront, and you can use them however and whenever you’d like.
What happens if I purchase a Tier and run out of credits?
If you have purchased one of the Tiers, when you run out of credits, you can continue to run automations and pay the small per credit overage price per your contract. Optionally, you can also decide to move to the next Tier to get better discounted pricing.
Can I use Pinkfish without an annual contract?
Yes. You can use Pinkfish with just a pay-as-you-go pricing. After the first 30 days trial, or when you run out of the included credits in the trial, you can continue using the platform and just pay for per credit pricing using your credit card. No contract required. You get better discounted pricing when to move you adopt the Tiered pricing model with commit.
What payment methods  does Pinkfish accept?
For annual contracts in Tiered pricing, Pinkfish accepts Wire, ACH or Credit Card.
For pay-as-you-go pricing without annual contract, Pinkfish accepts Credits Cards only.
How does Pinkfish calculate implementation fee?
Pinkfish implementation fee is optional. In cases where Pinkfish team builds the automations for the customer, Pinkfish charges a one time automation build fee of $1000 to $5000 depending on the complexity of the automation. If those customer automations are maintained by Pinkfish, there is a subsequent 20% maintenance subscription on the customer automations.
Please note that these are optional as customers may decide to build and maintain the automations themselves.
